The project "Focus 06 a community for the children well-being", which lasts two years, has been selected at national level by the Social Enterprise Con i Bambini through the "0/6 Early Childhood announcement".

The project, where ACEG Istituto Sacro Cuore of Carpi plays the role of leader together with other 22 partners (public, private and third sector), is aimed to promote activities addressed to parents and children from 0 to 6 years old in order to increase well-being and to battle child educational poverty.
The goals of the Focus 06 project are:

• Qualification and consolidation of the territorial network of integrated 0-6 educational system;
• Innovation of existing services: extension of opening hours, more flexibility of attendance at nursery schools and preschools, opening of summer services; more inclusive educational proposals for open groups mixed by age;
• Strengthening and activation of integrated Children Complex, with more services for children and families;
• Welcome and inclusion of all concrete situations of vulnerability (children with multiple complicated disabilities, foreign children and their families);
• Making adults more aware of the well-being of children as a factor of the social well-being of the local community.
