The Pedagogic Coordinating Staff is a work group composed of 3 pedagogists and the pedagogist in chief, who collaborate with educators and teachers to guarantee the drafting and consistent realisation of the Pedagogic Project in every municipal childhood service of the Unione Terre d’Argine.
Each pedagogic coordinator is responsible for some municipal nursery schools and pre-schools. She is present weekly in the different educational services, participates in periodic meetings to plan and organise, and supports the discussion and exchange of ideas regarding pedagogic and management choices. She is the reference point for families who seek a deeper understanding of certain topics related to education, especially any particular situation or group that their child is a part of.
Highlighting the emerging educational needs, the Pedagogic Coordinating Staff creates and manages the ongoing training and refresher courses for the teaching staff, paying attention to a childhood culture that grows on different knowledge, research and innovative experimentations.
The Pedagogic Coordinating Staff also positions the territory to collaborate with those maintaining a network of services for childhood and adolescence; working together to guarantee children a series of integrated and articulate opportunities at a local, regional and national level. The Pedagogic Coordinating Staff meets periodically with the coordinators of the affiliated services, sharing ideas and interacting to support the creation of an integrated system of childhood services.
